1. Thanks for being on time today.

2. My name is Teik Seong, this years forum chair, with us here today is our trainer XXX, and also Jeff Au who will be taking over forum chair next year.
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
3. Let me say a few words before we get on with the day.
|
||
|
|
- This is a training by YEN, the organization we are all part of
|
||
|
|
- We self organized, e.g. what time to show up, instructions etc
|
||
|
|
- And all these require good communication to coordinate properly
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
- So, Forum is one of the pillars that makes this possible
|
||
|
|
- I remember the first lesson I took away was listen to understand and not listen to reply
|
||
|
|
- Give the trainer (him/her) all your attention today, because whatever you learn will stay with you for a long time to come
|
||
|
|
- In another training, I remember we were talking about something personal and sensitive, then someone asked, "can discuss meh?", so almost anything can be discussed as long as it is done respectfully and remains CONFIDENTIAL
|
||
|
|
- After training, I will share with everybody the ways to join a forum
|
||
|
